Elsa Gregoire is a Belgian singer, cellist, and composer whose work spans music, performance, and the visual arts. After three years at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels, she went on to study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris and the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. Based in Berlin since 2013, Elsa has focused on pluridisciplinary projects, often collaborating with photographer Margret Hoppe. Their ongoing collaboration, Reflective Architecture, explores the intersection of sound and space, creating art installations that dive into architectural patterns. Their projects have taken them from India, where they created work focused on Le Corbusier’s designs, to Leipzig, where they explored the rich history of East German architecture. Elsa also participates in numerous collaborative projects alongside her own, working with musicians, dancers, and artists from various fields to create interdisciplinary performances. As a passionate vocal educator, she specializes in supporting artists—particularly dancers and actors—helping them develop vocal technique and improvisation skills. Elsa has led workshops across Europe, offering both technical training and creative freedom to vocalists.
