Gabriel Hahn

Gabriel Amadeus Hahn, a versatile music artist, born and raised in Munich to a French-German family of classical musicians, started his musical journey on the violin and piano before transitioning to drums at age 9. He collaborated with renowned Bavarian Jazz artists during his early years and was part of the Bavarian Youth Jazz Orchestra and the National German Youth Jazz Orchestra while studying Jazz at the Munich conservatory. His diverse musical experiences include membership in various ensembles like Konnexion Balkon, Das Rote Gras, and The New York Voices, where he served as a drummer, vocalist, and body percussionist for over a decade. Gabriel's exploration of artistic fields related to the human body, including beatboxing and body percussion, has led him to create innovative teaching methods. He composed a performance piece inspired by the ancient Chinese I Ging in 2016 and contributed as a singer to the Brussels Vocal Project's album "Modern Tales" in 2017. Graduating from the German National Advanced Professional Training of Psychotherapy in 2019, Gabriel now travels globally, teaching his "Musical-Body-Method" at various events and serving as the artistic director of the Groove it! Youth Acappella Camp Taitung and the Vocal Asia Festival. Currently residing in Taiwan, Gabriel continues to inspire through his music and educational initiatives.
