Pirly Zurstrassen

Pirly Zurstrassen was born on April 15^th1958 in Verviers (Belgium). He initially taught himself to play the piano and has since then extensively composed for stage, dance, TV as well as for his own projects. He performed in Europe and Africa and has made around 20 recordings under his own name. He started playing the accordion in the early 2000s. He taught ear training, practical jazz harmony and sight reading at the department of jazz of the Brussels Royal Conservatory for 33 years.
